The Edgemoor Research Institute, (ERI), brings stakeholders together to share knowledge, and develop voluntary technical solutions to complex data-related public policy challenges.

Domain registrations often involve a lot of data—sometimes over a hundred fields. This data has uses far beyond what was originally intended. The way we collect and share this information shapes the overall privacy, security, and accountability of the entire Internet.

Project Jake brings together key players to rethink how registration data is shared, knowledge is exchanged, and adopt practical, voluntary solutions to tough public policy challenges.

Our mission? Build a new foundation for collecting and sharing Internet data that’s efficient, decentralized, scalable, and transparent—while keeping automation high, costs low, and the system sustainable for the long haul
